Digital ad revenues in the US hit $9.6 billion during the first quarter of 2013, according to the latest Internet Advertising Revenue Report from the IAB and PwC US. The Q1 2013 number is a 15.6% year-over-year increase from the $8.3 billion in revenue generated during Q1 2012. It's also a new all-time high for quarterly online ad revenues. "Internet advertising revenue continues to exhibit double-digit growth, even as the business matures," said Sherrill Mane, SVP/Research, Analytics & Measurement for the IAB. These Q1 numbers "reflect the type of growth that the internet advertising arena has been seeing year-over-year," added David Silverman, Partner at PwC US.
